ದೇವರು ಎಂಬ ಜಿಜ್ಞಾಸೆ

ಆರು ವರ್ಷದ ಮಗು ಅಪರೂಪದ ಹೃದಯರೋಗದಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಊರಿನ ವೈದ್ಯರು ಬದುಕುವುದು ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದರು. ಕಂಗಾಲಾದ ಹೆತ್ತವರು ಖ್ಯಾತ ವೈದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಮಗುವಿನ ಕೂಲಂಕುಷ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದಾಗ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕ್ಷಿಷ್ಟಕರವಾದ, ತೆರೆದ ಹೃದಯದ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಗುವಿನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಕಂಡು ಬಂತು. 

ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನಡೆಸಿದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗು ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಬದುಕುವುದೂ ಸಂದೇಹಾಸ್ಪದವಾಗಿತ್ತು.  ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಮಗು ಸಾಯುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಹೆತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅಳೆದು ಸುರಿದು ಅನ್ಯಮಾರ್ಗ ಇರದ್ದನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ಅವರು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿದರು. ದಿನ ನಿಗದಿಯಾಯಿತು.

ನಿಗದಿಯಾದ ದಿನದ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸಂಜೆ ವೈದ್ಯರು ಮಗು ಮತ್ತವನ ಹೆತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ಹೋದರು. ಇವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಹುಡುಗ ನಸುನಗುತ್ತಾ "ಅಂಕಲ್, ನೀವು ನಾಳೆ ನನಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವೀರಲ್ಲವೇ?" ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ. ವೈದ್ಯರು ಹೌದೆಂದು ತಲೆ ಆಡಿಸಿದರು. ಹುಡುಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೇಳಿದ " ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿಸುವವರಿದ್ದಿರಂತೆ, ಹೌದಾ?"  ಮತ್ತೆ ಹೌದೆಂದರು ವೈದ್ಯರು. 

"ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ನನ್ನದೊಂದು ವಿನಂತಿ ಇದೆ.  ನನ್ನಮ್ಮ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ದೇವರು ಹೊರಗಿಲ್ಲ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಅವನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ಈಗ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ, ಸೀಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಂಡುಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ನೀವು ಗಮನವಿಟ್ಟು ಅವನು ಹೇಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ನೋಡಬೇಕು . ನಾನು ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡ ಅನಂತರ ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು, ಆಗಬಹುದೇ?" ಎಂದನಂತೆ.

ವೈದ್ಯರ ಹೃದಯ ಅವನ ಮುಗ್ಧ ಸುಂದರ ಕೋರಿಕೆ ಕೇಳಿ ದ್ರವಿಸಿತು. ತಲೆ ಸವಾರಿ, "ಆಗಬಹುದು ಮಗು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವಷ್ಟು ಬಲಿತವ ನಾನಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅವನು ಕಂಡರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ." ಎಂದುತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಶುರುವಾಯಿತು. ಹೃದಯದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಯಂತ್ರಕ್ಕೊಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ರಕ್ತ ಹರಿದು ಬರದಂತೆ ಬಸಿದು, ಹೃದಯ ಸಿಗಿದು, ಒಳಗಿರುವ ವಿಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಎಲ್ಲ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಅನಂತರ ರಕ್ತಪರಿಚಲನೆಯನ್ನು ಯಂತ್ರದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 

ಆದರೆ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಏನು ಧಕ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತೊ ಏನೋ ಅದು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ರಕ್ತ ಹರಿದು ಬರಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅಂದರೆ, ಮಗು ಬದುಕುವುದು ಅಸಂಭವವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಮಗುವಿನ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನದ ಮಾತುಗಳು ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ನೆನಪಾದವು. ಹೃದಯ ತುಂಬಿ, ಕಣ್ಣೀರಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯಿತು. ಕನ್ನಡಕ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೈಮುಗಿದು, "ಭಗವಂತ, ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಫಲ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಮುಂದಿನದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಾಸೆ ಎಂದ ಹುಡುಗ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯಾದರೂ ಬದುಕಿಸು ಇವನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಮೀ" ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸತೊಡಗಿದರು. ಮನಸ್ಸು ಅವನಲ್ಲೇ ಒಂದಾಯಿತು.

ಯಾರೋ ರಟ್ಟೆ ಅಲುಗಾಡಿಸಿದಂತಾಗಿ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಯಿತು. ಸಹವೈದ್ಯ, "ಸರ್ , ಸರ್ ನೋಡಿ ಹೃದಯ ಬಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಫಲಕಾರಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು." ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದ.

ಅರವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿ ಇವರ ಮುಖ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಹುಡುಗ ಕ್ಷೀಣ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ, "ನೀವು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿರೇನು?"ಎಂದ.  ಇವರು ಅವನ ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು, "ಇಲ್ಲ ಮಗು, ಆದರೆ ಅವನಿರುವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಭವಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ನನಗೆ."ಎಂದುತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.

ದುರ್ಭರವಾದ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಪರಬ್ರಹ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದರೆ ಅದೇ ಜೀವನ್ಮುಕ್ತಿ.

ಬದುಕು ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಂದ, ಹಾಗೇ ಬದುಕಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಯೆ. ಮಾಯೆ ಎಂದರಿತು ಅದರ ಗೋಜಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಕ್ಕಾಗದೇ ಹೊರನಿಂತು, "ಇದು ಇಷ್ಟೇ, ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದುದನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವುದೇ ಜೀವನದ ಗುರಿ" ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಜೀವ ವಿಕಸಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಭಾವ ಬಂತೋ ಅವನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೂ ಇಲ್ಲದವ, ಮುಕ್ತಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ  ಮರುಗುವ, ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತಚಾಚುವ ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Breaking the bonds of KARMA

In conditions life we are committing things at every step even without knowing it. The reason we are sinning unknowingly is that we have been in ignorance from our every birth.
This ignorance is prominent despite so many educational institutions. Why? because despite so many big, big universities, none of them is teaching of atma-tattva for the science of the soul.

Therefore people remain in ignorance,  and they continue to sin and suffer the reactions. That is started in the Srimad Bhagavatam (5.5.3):parabhavas tavad abodha-jato yavan na jijnasata atma tattvam.

This foolishness will continue until one comes to the platform of understanding self-realization.

Otherwise, all these universities and Institutions for imparting knowledge are a continuation of that same ignorance and foolishness. Unless one comes to the point of asking  “What am I? What is God? What is this world? What is my relationship with God and this world?” and finds proper answers, One continuos to be  foolish like an animal and is subjected to transmigration from one body to another in different species of life. This is the result of ignorance.

So, the modern civilization is very risky. One may feel comfortable as a successful Businessman or politician, or one may think oneself comfortable because of being born in rich Nation like America, but these statuses  of life are temporary. They will have to change, and we do not know what kind of miseries we will have to suffer in our next life because of our sinful activities. so if one does not begin cultivating transcendental knowledge, then one's life is very risky. Suppose a healthy man is living in a contaminated place. is his life not at risk? He may become infected by diseases at any moment. Therefore we should work to dissipate our ignorance through cultivation of transcendental knowledge.

A good example of how we commit sins unknowingly is eating. In the Bhagavad-gita Krishna says that His devotees are freed from sin because they eat only the remnants of food that has been offered to Him. But, He says, those who cook for themselves eat only sin. The difference between cooking here in this temple and cooking in some ordinary house is that our cooking and eating a relieving us from sin, while the cooking and eating of a non-devotee are simply  entangling him more and more in sin. The cooking and eating appear  the same, but they are different. Here there is no sin  because the food is being cooked and eaten for Krishna.

GOOD AND THE LAW OF KARMA

Among the vast ancient Sanskrit writings known as the Vedas, the 108 Upanishads contain the philosophical essence.

And among all the Upanishads the Ishopanishad is considered the foremost. In the following essay, we learn the truth about the Supreme Lord, The laws governing his material and spiritual energies, and how to break free of the bondage of Karma. 

The Ishopanishad states that the supreme personality of godhead is "perfect and complete".  'Part of the lord's complete arrangement for this material world is his process of creation, maintenance and destruction. 

Every living being in this material world has a fixed schedule of 6 changes: birth, growth, maintenance, and the production of by products, diminution and destruction. This is the law of material nature. A flower is born as a bud. It grows remains fresh for 2 or 3 days, produces a seed, gradually withers, and then is finished. You cannot stop this by you are so called material science. To try to do so is Avidya, ignorance.

Sometimes people foolishly think that by scientific advancement man will become immortal. This is nonsense. You cannot stop the material laws. Therefore in the Bhagavad Gita (7.14) Lord Krishna says that the material energy is duratyaya, impossible to overcome by material means. Material nature consists of three modes, or gunas: sattva-guna, rajo-guna and tamo-guna, or the modes of goodness passion and the ignorance. 

Another meaning of guna is "Rope". 

Rope is made by twisting fibre in threefold process. First the fibre is twisted in three small strands, and three of them are twisted together, then again three of those twisted together. In this way Rope becomes very strong. Similarly the three modes of nature: goodness passion and strong. ignorance--are mixed, after which they produce some by product. Then they are mixed again and again and then again. Thus they are "twisted together" in innumerable times. 


In this way the material energy binds you are more and more. 

By your own efforts you cannot get out of this bondage which is known as pavarga. Pa-varga is is set of fifth letters in the Sanskrit Devanagari alphabet. 
It contains the letters pa, pha,ba, bha and ma.

Pa stands for parishrama, "hard labour". Every living entity in this world is struggling very hard to maintain himself and survive. This is called that hard struggle for existence. 

Pha stands for phena, "foam". When a horse works very hard foam comes out of its mouth, similarly when we are tired from working very hard, our tongue may become dry and some foam forms in our mouth. Everyone is working very hard for sense gratification. So much so that foam is coming from their mouth. 

Ba represents bandha, "Bondage". In spite of all our efforts, we remain bound up by the ropes of the material modes of nature. 

Bha stands or Bhaya, "fear".  In material life one is always in a blazing fire of fear, since no one knows what will happen next. 

And ma represent mratyu, "death". All our hopes and plans for happiness and security in this world are ended by death. So Krishna consciousness nullifies this pavarga process.

 In other words by taking to Krishna  consciousness one attains apavarga, where there is no hard struggle for existence and no material bondage, fear or death. Pavarga symptomizes this material world, but when you add the prefix "a" to pavarga, that means it is nullified. Our Krishna consciousness movement is the part of Apavarga.

Unfortunately  people do not know of these things and therefore they are wasting their lives. This modern civilization is a soul-killing Civilization. People are killing themselves because they do not know what real life is. They are simply living like animals. 

The animal does not know what life is, So he simply works under the laws of nature undergoing gradual evolution. But when you get this human form of life, you have responsibility to live in different way. 

Here is a chance for you become Krishna conscious and solve all all problems. But if you don't----if you continue to act like animals--- you will again have to enter the cycle birth and death and transmigrate through 84,00,000 species of life. 

It will take many many millions of years to come back to the human form of life. For example the sun sign you are seeing now you will not see again until after 24 hours. Everything in nature moves in a cycle. So if you lose this opportunity of elevating yourself then you again must enter the cycle of transmigration. Nature's law is very strong.

'ತುಲಸಿ'ಯಾಗುವ ಭಾಗ್ಯ ಲಭಿಸಲಿ!

ಸುಮಾರು ೧೫-೧೬ನೆಯ ಶತಮಾನದ ಸಂತ ಕವಿ, ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನ ಪರಮ ಭಕ್ತಶ್ರೀ ತುಲಸೀದಾಸ ಗೋಸ್ವಾಮಿ.

ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ, ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಿ, ಬೇಡಿ, ಕಾಡಿ, ಹೆದರಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ 'ವಿನಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ' ಎಂಬ ಮಹಾಕೃತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನೇ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸ್ವೀಕೃತಿಯ ಹಸ್ತಾಕ್ಷರ ಹಾಕುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನು. ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚರಿತ ಮಾನಸ, ತುಲಸಿ ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಎಂದೇ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಮೇರುಕೃತಿಯ ಕರ್ತನೀತ. ಇಂಥ ಮಹಾಸಂತನ ಬದುಕಿನ ಒಂದು ಘಟನೆ ಇದು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭಾವದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮುಳುಗಿದ ತುಲಸಿಯನ್ನು ಭಗವಂತನ ದಾಸನಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಿದ ಕಥೆ ಇದು.

ತುಲಸಿ ದಾಸರ ವಿವಾಹ 'ರತ್ನಾವಲೀ' ಎಂಬ ಸುಂದರ ಕನ್ಯೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯಿತಂತೆ. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದ ತುಲಸಿ ಎಂಬ ಯುವಕ ಅಕ್ಷರಶಃ "ರತ್ನಾವಲೀ" ದಾಸನಾದ. ಒಂದು ದಿನವೂ ಅವಳಿಂದ ಆಗಲಿರಲಾಗದ ಮೋಹದ ಪರೆಯೊಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕವಿಯಿತು.

ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಒಂದು ದಿನ ತುಲಸಿ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರತ್ನಾವಲಿಗೆ ತವರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾದ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಬಂತು. ಹಾಗೇ ಪತಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೇ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದಳು. ಸಂಜೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ತುಲಸಿಗೆ ಪತ್ನಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದು ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. ರಾತ್ರಿ "ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಆಗಲಿರಬೇಕಾದ ಯೊಚನೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಕಂಗಾಲಾಗಿ ಹೋದನವನು. ಸುರಿವ ಮಳೆ, ಗುಡುಗು, ಸಿಡಿಲುಗಳ ಆರ್ಭಟವನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದೆ ಮಾವನ ಮನೆಯತ್ತ ಓಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದ. ಅದರ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿ ತುಂಬಿ ಹರಿಯುತಿತ್ತು.
ಪ್ರವಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿ ದಾಟುವುದೆಂತು? ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಂಬಿಗನ ದೋಣಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗಂತೂ ತುಲಸಿ ಹುಚ್ಚನಂತಾದ. ಅತ್ತಿತ್ತ ಅಲೆದಾಡಿ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಉಪಾಯ ಕಾಣುವುದೋ ಎಂದು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದವನಿಗೆ ಹಲಗೆಯ ತುಂಡಿನಂತಥದ್ದೇನೋ ಕಂಡಿತು. ಹಿಂದು ಮುಂದು ಆಲೋಚಿಸದೇ ತುಲಸಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೋರಲು ಬಿದ್ದ.  ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೇ ಹರಿಗೋಲಿನಂತೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಆಚೆ ದಡ ಸೇರಿದ.

ಸೇರಿದವನೇ ರತ್ನಾವಾಲಿಯ ಮನೆಯತ್ತ ಓಡಿದ. ಸರಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ದೀಪವೂ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬಾಗಿಲು ತಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಉತ್ತರವಿಲ್ಲ. ಮನೆಗೊಂದು ಸುತ್ತು ಬಂದ. ತಾರಸಿಯಿಂದ ಹಗ್ಗವೊಂದು ನೇತಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡಿತು. "ಆಹಾ! ನಾನು ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಮನದನ್ನೆ ಹಗ್ಗ ಕಟ್ಟಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾಳೆ" ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು ತಾರಸಿ ಹತ್ತಿ ತೆರೆದ ಕಿಟಕಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಕೋಣೆ ಸೇರಿದ.

ಗಾಢನಿದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪತ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ. ಇವನ ಅವತಾರ ಕಂಡು ಅವಳು ದಂಗಾದಳು. ಹಗ್ಗದ ಕಥೆ ಕೇಳಿ, "ತಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ" ಎಂದಳು. " ನಿಮ್ಮ  ಈ ನಶ್ವರ ದೇಹದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮೋಹದ ನೂರರ ಒಂದು ಪಾಲು ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನ ಚರಣಾರವಿಂದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟರೆ ಭವದಿಂದಲೇ ಮುಕ್ತಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಎಂದಳು. ಅವಳ ಈ ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ತುಲಸಿಯ ಮನದ ಕಾವಳ ಹರಿಸಿತು. ಮೋಹ ಕಳೆಯಿತು. ತುಲಸಿ, ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನ ದಾಸನಾದ. ಅವನ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಕಾವ್ಯಧಾರೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಜಗತ್ತು ಇಂದೂ ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ಸಂತರ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾದ. ರತ್ನಾವಲಿಯ ಮಾತೆಂಬ ಪರುಷಮಣಿಯ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಿಂದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ ಹೊನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯಾಯಿತು.

ಅಸಲಿಗೆ ಅವನು ತೆಪ್ಪವೆಂದು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿದ್ದು ಕೊಳೆತ ಶವವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ತಾರಸಿಯಿಂದ ನೇಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹಗ್ಗ ಹಾವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

'ಸಂಸಾರವೆಂಬ ಸಾಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಸಿವೆಯಷ್ಟು ಸುಖವಾದರೆ, ದುಃಖ ಸಾಗರದಷ್ಟು' ಎನ್ನುವ ಮಾತಿದೆ. ಈ ಸುಖ-ದುಃಖಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದ ಗೆರೆ ಕಂಡವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಯೆ ಹಿಂಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಭವ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವರು ಭಾರತವೆಂಬ ಪುಣ್ಯಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು, ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೂ ಬರುವವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ತನ್ನ ಗುರುವಿಗೆ ಜನ್ಮ ನೀಡುವವ ಶಿಷ್ಯ.
ಮಹಾಭಾರತದ ಮಹಾಯುದ್ಧರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜುನ ನಿರ್ವೀರ್ಯನಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧವನೊಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂದು ಶಸ್ತ್ರತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ. ದುಷ್ಟದಮನ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯನ ಬದುಕು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಮುಖನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಗುರುವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದ. ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರುವಾದ.

ನಚಿಕೇತ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿಸಲು ಯಮಪುರಿಗೆ ಹೋದ. ಯಮನಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಲ್ಲಿ. ಕಾದು ಕುಳಿತ ನಚಿಕೇತ. ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಅನಂತರ ಮರಳಿದ ಯಮಧರ್ಮ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ವಟುವನ್ನು ಅನ್ನಾಹಾರಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಕಾಯಿಸಿದ ತಪ್ಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ವರ ಕೇಳುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿದ. ನಚಿಕೇತ ಮೂರನೆಯ ವರವಾಗಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಜ್ಞಾನ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸು ಎಂದ. ಇಂದ್ರ ಪದವಿಯ ಆಮಿಷ ಒಡ್ಡಿದರೂ ಒಡಂಬಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಡೆಗೂ ಸೋತ ಯಮಧರ್ಮ ಪರಮಸತ್ಯ ದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ. ಕಠೋಪನಿಷತ್ತೆಂಬ ಜ್ಞಾನನಿಧಿ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

ಹೀಗೆ ಉದ್ಧವ, ವಿಧುರ, ವಶಿಷ್ಠ, ಭಿಷ್ಮಾಚಾರ್ಯರಂಥ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯ 'ಗುರು'ವರ್ಯರ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಇದೆ ನಮಗೆ. ಧರ್ಮರಾಯ, ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ, ಶಬರಿ, ಅನುಸೂಯೆ,.ಸೀತೆಯರು ಆದರ್ಶರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಒಂದು ಸಲ ಅಕ್ಬರ ಬಾದಷಾಹನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ತನಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಗೌರವಗಳಿವೆಯೋ, ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಹ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳಿದ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸಭಾಸದನೂ ಖಂಡಿತಕ್ಕೂ ಇದೆ. ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಜೀವ ನೀಡಲೂ ಸಿದ್ಧರು ಎಂದೆಲ್ಲ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಬೀರಬಲ್ಲನ ಉತ್ತರ ಬೇರೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ವಿಧೇಯತೆ ಇರಬಹುದು, ಆದರದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಿನ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರತು ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಗೌರವಗಳಿಂದಲ್ಲ ಎಂದ ಖಡಾಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ. ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ಅಕ್ಬರನಿಗೆ ಇದು ರುಚಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸತ್ಯ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಹಿಯೇ ನೋಡಿ. ಸರಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಸಾಬೀತುಪಡಿಸಿ ತೋರಿಸು ಎಂದ ಬೀರಬಲ್ಲನಿಗೆ.

ಬೀರಬಲ್ಲ ಒಂದು ಫರ್ಮಾನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ. "ಅಕ್ಬರನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಾನೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಾಲು ಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಮಸ್ತರೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ತಂಬಿಗೆ ಹಾಲು ತಂದು ಅರಮನೆ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾನೆಗೆ ಸುರಿಯಬೇಕು" ಎಂದಿತ್ತು. ಸರಿ, ನಿಗದಿತ ದಿನ ಜನ ಸಾಲುಕಟ್ಟಿ, ತಂಬಿಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಬಂದರು. ಸಂಜೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಬಾನೆ ತುಂಬಿತು. ಅಕ್ಬರ ಸ್ವತಃ ಅದರ ಮುಚ್ಚಳ ತೆರೆದ. ಆಹಾ! ಬಾನೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಬರೀ ನೀರು ಮಾತ್ರ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಾಲು ತರುತ್ತಾರೆ, ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಾತ್ರ ನೀರು ತಂದರೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಡಂಗುರ ಸಾರಲಾಯಿತು. "ಹೋದಸಲದಂತಾಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ಸ್ವತಃ ಬಾದಷಾಹರೇ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ವಹಿಸುವವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಾಲು ತರಬೇಕು" ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಜನ ಸಾಲುಗಟ್ಟಿ, ತಂಬಿಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಬಂದರು. ಸಂಜೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಬಾನೆ ತುಂಬಿತು. ಆ ದಿನ ಸ್ವತಃ ಅಕ್ಬರನೇ ಸಭಾಸದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಾನೆಯ ಮುಂದಿನ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಬರುವ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಬಾನೆಯ ಮುಚ್ಚಳ ತೆರೆಯಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಾನೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಾಲು ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು.


ಗಮನಿಸುವವನಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎನ್ನುವಾಗ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹೆದರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಇದಕ್ಕೆಂದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಗುರುವಿಗೊಂದು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದ 'ಆಸಕ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹಾದಿ ತೋರಿಸಲೆಂದೂ, ಹಾದಿ ತಪ್ಪಿದವನಿಗೆ ಸರಿ ಹಾದಿ ತೋರಿಸಲೆಂದಿರಬಹುದು. ಅದರ ಕಲಿತದ್ದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ತಪ್ಪುಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿದ್ದಿ, ಹಾದಿ ತಪ್ಪದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನೇ 'ಗುರು'.


ತಿಳಿದ, ತಿಳಿಯದ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ 'ಗುರು'ವೇ. ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಅಕ್ಷರ ಕಲಿಸಿದವನೂ ಗುರು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಂಪರೆ.

ಇದಿಷ್ಟು ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣುವ 'ಗುರು'. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಅಂತರ್ಗತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ನಡೆಸುವ ಅದಮ್ಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೊಂದಿದೆ. ಅದು ಪರಮಗುರು. 
ಜೀವ ಮೂಲ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತು. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆ ಅದರ ಚಿತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಯಿತು. ಬೌತಿಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಿಂದ ದೇಹಧಾರಣೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಭವಚಕ್ರದ ಪರಿಭ್ರಮಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲಾಯಿತು. ಕರ್ಮಲೇಪ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಎಷ್ಟು ಬಾರಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದೇವೋ, ಸತ್ತೆವೋ ಎಂತೆಥ ದೇಹಗಳಾದವೋ!

ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ ಅನುಭವ, ಅರಿವಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಜೀವದೊಂದಿಗೆ,ದೇಹದಿಂದ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಪಯಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಅನುಭವದ ಅರಿವೇ ಮುಕ್ತಿ. ಜೀವ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸತ್ಪಥದತ್ತ ಎಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅದೇ ಪರಮಗುರು.

ಒಳಗಿದ್ದು ನಡೆಸುವ, ಹೊರಗಿನಿಂದ ಹಾದಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ, ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಆಗಿಹೋದ, ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತಗುರುಗಳಿಗೆ, ಪರಂಪರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮಿಸೋಣ.

EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORMS

There are many idioms and proverbs that express a gospel truth in a concise manner. 

One of them is the 'Early Bird Catches the worm'. This proverb was first encountered in Tohh ray's book.

The "Worm" comes out of the ground early in the morning and the "bird" that searches early gets the "worm", clearly a bird starts searching for food early it catches the worm soon. 

Bird here, refers to a person and worm refers to an opportunity. To grab the opportunity and to make effective use of it, this proverb ignites the importance of being punctual and disciplined to achieve success.

The bird that rises earlier that the other birds goes in search of a prey and it gets s many worms as possible. 

This situation or statement advises us to act in proper time. Similarly, if one is not serious in doing his duties and has the habit of post-pointing things, one may lose the opportunities of success and not get the desired result. When we try to work hard at a later stage, it may be of no use.

It is truly said, "don't count every hour in the day, make every hour in the day count". Opportunities do not come for mere asking, we must try to do our best and leave no stone upturned, while the time is on our ride, the advantage is ours, and the cards are in our hands we must keep them close to our chest and play safe. Once thrown carelessly,we may have to repent ever afterwards. Samuel smites says, "lost wealth may be replace by industry, lost knowledge by study, lost health by temperance and medicine but lost time gone forever."

The most important characteristics of tie is its preciousness, value and prices, minute is enough to win, a second is enough to make you the richest man in the world., fraction of a second can make a difference between life and death, so every minute store house of chances. Therefore, we must not allow such precious time to slip away.

So, if one want to succeed in life, one must  dispel laziness, remove 'take it as an attitude and stop fruitless spending time. Time is a sort of river of passing  events and strong are its currents.

It is the most basic truth of life that we should never allow our golden time to  away from us.

Time is very powerful and one can kneel down in front of it but never defeat it and must always remember the phrase.

ಮುಕ್ತ

'ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮ ಸಾಧಕ ತಾನು' ಎಂದು ನಂಬಿದವನೊಬ್ಬ ಇದ್ದ. ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಾಧು ಸಂತರು ಆ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಜನ ಓಲೈಸುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಸೂಯೆ ಎನಿಸುತಿತ್ತು. ಇಂಥ ಸಾಧಕ ತಾನು, ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸದೇ ಈ ಹುಂಬ ಮಂದಿ ಯಾರ್ಯಾರನ್ನೋ ದೇವರೆಂದು, ಗುರುವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬೆಸ್ತು ಬೀಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಒಳಗೊಳಗೇ ಅಲವೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ.

ಒಂದು ಸಲ ಹೀಗಾಯಿತು. ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮಜಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಸಂತರೊಬ್ಬರು ಆ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಜನ ಸಾಲುಗಟ್ಟಿ ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದರು. ಹಣ್ಣು-ಹೂಗಳು ರಾಶಿ ಬಿದ್ದವು. ತಟ್ಟೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಹಣದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿತು. ಇವನೂ ಬಂದು ಸಂತರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತ. ಆದರೆ ಕೈ ಮುಗಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. "ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ನಾನೂನಿಮ್ಮಂತೆಯೇ ಸಾಧಕ. ಆದರೂ ಸಾಧನೆ ಫಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮಂಥ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆ ನನ್ನದಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಏನು ಮಾಡಲಿ?" ಎಂದ.

ಸಂತರು ಗಮನವಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಿದರು. ಅಹಂಕಾರವೊಂದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಸರ್ವ ವಿಧದಲ್ಲೂ ಸಾಧಕನ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಕಿರು ನಗುತ್ತಾ  "ಮಗು, ಸುಲಭದ ಹಾದಿ ಇದೆ. ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದ ಮರಳಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತು ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿದರಾಯಿತು. ಒಂದು ಕಮಂಡಲ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು. ಕಮಂಡಲದ ತುಂಬಾ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ತಾ. ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿರುವಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತು ಸಮುದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಕಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವ
 ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ತಪಿಸು. ಅನಂತರ ಕಮಂಡಲದ ನೀರನ್ನು ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಸುರಿ. ಒಂದೆರಡು ತಿಂಗಳು ಬೇಕಾಗಬಹುದು. ಅನಂತರ ನಿನಗೇನನಿಸುತ್ತದೋ ಬಂದು ತಿಳಿಸು" ಎಂದರು.

ಇವನಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು. ಕಡೆಗೂ ತಾನು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯನಾಗಬಹುದೆಂದು ಉಬ್ಬಿದ. ಮಾರನೆಯ ದಿನದಿಂದ ದಿನಚರಿ ಗುರುಗಳ ಆದೇಶದಂತೆ ನಡೆಯತೊಡಗಿತು. ಒಂದು ವಾರ ಕಳೆಯಿತು. ಬಹಳ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಏನೂ ಕಂಡುಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಸಮುದ್ರದಿಂದ ನೀರನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಈ ಕಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಯಾಕೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ? ಈ ನೀರೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವೇ ಆಗಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ? ಹಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಇಡೀ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನೇ ಕುರಿತು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವಂತೆ ಗುರು ಹೇಳಿಲ್ಲವೇಕೆ? ಎಂಬೆಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಎದುರಾದವು.

ಎಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತು ಕಳೆಯಿತೋ! ಅದರ ಪರಿವೆಯೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅವನಿಗೆ. ಕತ್ತಲಾಯಿತು ಯಾರೋ ಬೆನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು. ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಬೆನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿದ್ದೆ ದೂರವಾಯಿತಂದು. ಮಾರನೆಯ ದಿನ ಮತ್ತದರ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳು ಹೀಗೇ ಕಳೆದವು. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಸತ್ಯ ಹೊಳೆಯಿತು. ಅನಂತಸಾಗರ, ವಿಶ್ವವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿರುವ ಅನಂತಾನಂತ ವಿಶ್ವ ಚೈತನ್ಯ, ಈ ಕಮಂಡಲ ತಾನು. ಅದು ಸಾಗರದ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗ. 'ಅದು ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ ಇದು ಆತ್ಮ' ಎಂದು ಜನ ಹೇಳುವುದೂ ಇದನ್ನೇ ಒಂದು ಅರ್ಥದಲಿ ನಾನೇ ಅದು, ಅದೇ ನಾನು'ಎಂದಿತು ಒಳ ಮನಸ್ಸು.


ಇಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ ಇವನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಗಂಟೆಗಟ್ಟಲೆ ಒಂದು ಕಮಂಡಲದ ತುಂಬಾ ನೀರನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಗಿಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೈಮರೆತು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಇವನು ಯಾರೋ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಾಧಕನೋ ಸಂತನೋ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಹಾರ, ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳು, ನೈವೇದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಲು ಬರತೊಡಗಿತು. ಜನ ಬಂದು ಬಂದು ಅಡ್ಡ ಬಿದ್ದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಬೇಡತೊಡಗಿದರು. ಕೆಲವರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಜಾದೂ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ವದಂತಿ ಹರದ್ದಿತು. ಇವನು ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಂತನಾದ.

ಆದರೆ ಇವನಿಗೆ ಇದಾವುದೂ ಬೇಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.  ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅರಿವಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಅವನ ಅಹಂಕಾರ, ಕೀರ್ತಿ,ಕಾಮನೆ ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗಿದ್ದವು. ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕಿರಣ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶದಿಂದ ಕಳವಳ ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗಿತ್ತು. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಇವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರತುಹೋದ.

ಇದು ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಕಾಣಾಬಹುದಾದ,ಅನುಭವಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಅಂತಿಮ ಸತ್ಯ. ಇದನ್ನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನರು ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದರು. "ಅಹಂ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಸ್ಮಿ" ಎಂದರು.

'ಅಸತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಸತ್ಯದೆಡೆಗೆ , ಕತ್ತಲಿನಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕಿನೆಡೆಗೆ, ಮೃತ್ಯುವಿನಿಂದ ಅಮರತ್ವದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ನಡೆಸು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲ ಸ್ವರೂಪದ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದೇ ಈ ಸತ್ಯದರ್ಶನದ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕುವುದೇ ಜೀವನ, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸುಖವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಲಿ"ಎಂದು ಮನದಾಳದಿಂದ ಹಾರೈಸಲು ಶಕ್ಯನಾದವನೇ 'ಮುಕ್ತ'.

ತಾನು ತಿಳಿದವ ಎಂಬ ಅಹಂಕಾರವೂ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಮಾರಕ, ಹಾಗೆ ತನಗೇನೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು ಎಂದು ಹಿಂದುಳಿಯುವುದು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದೇ. ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಅರಿವಿರಲಿ. ಅಹಂಕಾರ ಬೇಡ. ತಿಳಿಯದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ದಾಹವಿರಲಿ, ಕೀಳರಿಮೆ ಬೇಡ. ಇದು ಸಂತುಲಿತ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಬುನಾದಿ.
